Born and raised in the vibrant Philadelphia music scene, Mike Gendler began his career as a working musician deeply rooted in the city’s original-music community. Philadelphia radio legend Pierre Robert of WMMR was an early champion of Mike’s work, often spotlighting his performances — including a memorable private concert Mike played for Pink Floyd after their show at veterans stadium ,which Pierre talked about live on-air the following morning. His support played a meaningful role in Mike’s early trajectory as a young artist.
Mike attended Temple University before founding EBE Events & Entertainment in 1999 from his basement. Over the next 24 years, he built EBE into the largest private entertainment company on the East Coast, producing thousands of high-profile events and concerts. Across more than two decades, Mike has created productions featuring guests such as Taylor Swift, Dave Grohl, and The Chainsmokers; collaborated with major brands including Apple, Microsoft, the NFL, and NASCAR; and coordinated entertainment for Super Bowl LVII.
After selling EBE in 2024, Mike shifted his focus back to his first love — music production — and merged his decades of performance, business, and production experience into a new chapter as a music-media creator and showrunner.
